Turn a wellington boot into a bright and cheerful vase, says Katherine Miller
My three-year-old seemed bemused at first by the idea of using one of his wellies as a vase, but his older brother found it rather funny. I cut a plastic bottle in half, and he put inside the boot to hold the water. Then he arranged some cornflowers and calendula stems to make a bright and cheerful display in his very own welly boot vase.
The great thing about this is that you don’t have to spoil the wellington boot, no cutting or altering is required, so it can be worn again when not being used for flowers!
