Light your way through the garden with this money saving idea, from AG garden writer, Michelle wheeler
1) Place something inside the can so the metal does not bend. Here I have used an old branch. Using a nail, puncture the can in whatever pattern you wish. Put two holes opposite each other at the top so you can attach a wire hanger (step 3).
2) Using spray paint or a pot or metal paint, start decorating your cans. Wear gloves and do this job in a well ventilated space. Allow the first coat to dry then apply again if needed for a perfect finish.
3) Cut sections of wire to act as the hanger. Thread through one of the two top holes, twist, bend it upwards then thread through the opposite hole. Cut off excess wire. Place a tea light candle inside, light it, then hang in place.
