Meet the world’s most confused vegetable – a sweet pepper that thinks it’s a chilli!
Pepper ‘Sweet Sunshine,’ exclusive to Dobies of Devon, has fruits that look like a fiery chilli but are mild like a sweet pepper.
A Dobies spokeswoman said the variety also had a “unique trailing habit” making it ideal for hanging baskets and window boxes.
A spokeswoman said: “It has masses of small, tasty pointed fruits which ripen from green to orangey-yellow.
Gardeners will be harvesting from mid-July through to the first frosts.”
Three plants of ‘Sweet Sunshine’ cost £14.95. Call (0844) 701 7625.
