[1] Overfill pots or trays with a seed and cuttings compost. Gently tap the tray and level off the compost.

[2] Before sowing the seeds, water the tray (with tapwater) and allow the compost to drain and settle down.

[3] Sow one seed into each cell, or scatter keeping the seeds 1in (2.5cm) apart. Press them in gently.

[4] Cover with a fine layer of vermiculite, label and place into a propagator at 21-24°C (70-75°F
